ElricBro I'm not sure if you realize how unlikely it is that Refn or Denis would sign on or even be invited to direct one of these. They wouldn't do it and also it wouldn't make sense with their style of filmmaking.
Disney can afford to take these risks without comprising their overheads. If the duds keep getting pumped out they can drop a bag and the fan service and the russo bros can cover for the damage control.
