is this whole rollout avatar doing marvel a favour or marvel doing avatar a favour or is it a entirely mutual thing (as its all disneyslop at the end of the day)
I think both are benefitting but Avatar slightly more
There will definitely be MCU fans buying four tickets to Avatar that otherwise wouldn’t have
Wakanda Forever says hi
Better than bp1 imo and I know I’m in the minority on that opinion. Mbj killmonger was a horrible unconvincing villain
I think option 3?
Like Avatar is going to make bank no doubt, but also the Doomsday trailer might bring some people in. Also, the casuals going to see Avatar who fell off after Endgame seeing this could be intrigued by seeing this in front of Avatar
im legit walking in for the trailer and walking out after it

I got A-List so it’s gonna cost me zero dollars regardless but I’ma watch Avatar twice and then go the last two times just for the trailers

That is exactly what I'm doing
no need to lie on here, this movie is certainly hyped
This first teaser isn’t
This first teaser isn’t
it served its purpose cause we’re here discussing it lol a short scene is all we needed. we got a whole year for the good s***
I still think they could've done this trailer, but maybe make trailer 2 Doom, 3 X-Men, 4 the "new" or existing MCU Characters
I feel like not having an X-Men focused trailer at least is a mistake
IT'S THE OG FOX X-MEN good or bad people have nostalgia for that group
#Family posting begins now
Is Vin Diesel in that writer's room?

Steve trailer - family
Thor trailer - protecting family
Doom trailer - lost family
Xmen trailer - found family

yeah not having a X-MEN focused or at least somewhat highlighted seems like a choice

how niggas gonna be 2 seconds before that sky portal open up
no bro that would make too much sense we need epic trailer for cap america who hasn't been in the series since before covid

I also think it's hilarious that they did a while chair reveal showing off the cast just to have the lead of the film revealed in the first teaser separate from that chair reveal
Do y’all think Secret Wars will be the final film in the “Avengers” series?
I’ve had this theory about their X-Men plans for years, and seeing how they’re marketing this movie leads me to believe they have zero confidence in their newer characters spearheading an Avengers film.
My theory is that post-Secret Wars, the “X-Men” series of films will replace the Avengers films as the big event/team-ups of each saga

Nah, I do think however it may be the end of The Avengers being giant team up films
I think going forward Avengers will focus on the core group and if they do have huge event films they will either take the name of the story they're adapting or something like "Avengers and The X-Men"
hol on is the countdown for the first official trailer?
That s*** going until May

Flat out, no. They'll recast and do a more homogenous "Marvel Universe" with all the different teams coexisting as they should, mixing and intermingling and s***
So that "xmen 3" can be just as big of an event movie as "avengers 3" for instance
