Jonathan Majors would have acted his way to Kang living up to Thanos, I’m sure of it
He was always great, it’s the writers that were the issue
Damn
https://twitter.com/hollywoodhandle/status/1947010217239036319It wasn’t Kang! It was who you hired to write him!
idk i feel he is trying to rewrite the narrative over rehiring RDJ and Russo brothers as a panic reset after Majors
they already started building kang with loki and ant-man
ant man literally ends with scott panicking about more kangs and a post credits with a stadium of millions of them
budget for that movie though was like 300M+ so if they did decide mid production he wasn’t working atp it was too late to even back out
Always assumed Kang would've been beaten by doom in kangs dynasty
I never thought they would give dooms biggest story to someone else

Facts. Also they decided to put him in head scratching projects. Loki was a great show imo but how was he going to shape up as a Thanos via streaming content? Then there's Ant Man which was always going to be meh performing at best
For several years they've seemed fully intent on the next big bad being an F4 villain. Why are they only just now getting around to this team? We realistically coulda had a far better avenue to build up either villain but now hype largely rests on the fact RDJ plays him. Even with us having an F4 movie they still didn't bother too
Thanos got a proper tease in Avengers and intro in Guardians, which a realistic and smart opening to pursue. They just made s*** up the past few years and hoped it'd stick
Damn
https://twitter.com/hollywoodhandle/status/1947010217239036319Just a Hollywood exec trying to solidify a narrative
They've had a rough few years and multiple expose articles written about their chaos. Its his job as president of the studio to project "stability."
He mentioned that he talked to RDJ about Doom BEFORE Ant-Man 3
I think if Majors didn’t get caught up in that s*** he still would’ve served as a secondary antagonist to Doom
I completely forgot about the Ant Man PCS nvm he lying through his teeth
Damn
https://twitter.com/hollywoodhandle/status/1947010217239036319This is pure bs from Fiege. The decision to have him lose to Ant-Man in his debut was a stupid move
Damn
https://twitter.com/hollywoodhandle/status/1947010217239036319they called me a mad man when i said this
People forget and don’t even know. The first portrayals of Kang are to be the weakest. The main point is he has multiple variants and theirs infinite versions of him and one might be so cracked out he’s the smartest in the multiverse. One variant could be a AI version. Etc
The Ant man Kang was never gonna win. And that’s not why the movie sucked.
He’s a Reoccurring villain that terrorizes the multiverse. The first kangs should absolutely be beat.
He could legit get beat, remember where he was and travel back to the future. Come back to the MCU timeline while their heroes can’t catch a breathe and wreck them.
The basis of Kang is he gets beat and literally comes back stronger. Sucks we’ll never get to see it

That’s comic s***, the casual audience goer would not understand that, and it would also make the stakes feel cheap if there was always a stronger Kang waiting for them every time they defeated one

That’s the trick. Avengers strategically had to figure out
how to stop them.

It's a comic book movie
The movies that use more of an authentic approach have been the ones with warmer reception as of late, don't see why they couldn't do that

I get what he means tho, you want it to seem like this new big bad villain can’t be beat. He gotta be badder than Thanos because that’s where the bar has been set.

They just did the same thing with Thanos in endgame tho and raked in the dough
At least this stuff for Kang is baked into the character
Could they shoehorn Valeria in to doomsday and sw, maybe. I just hope they don’t give her story and connection with Doom to Franklin

half the movie just gonna be her from the waist up?
i predict thor will be the one to see doom and assume its tony and think that he can reason with him which will lead to doom just outright killing him
thor will be the sacrificial lamb to show the stakes, mark my words

I thought that too until Feige said that he wants Hemsworth to play Thor for another 40 years
