Think I'm starting to come around to liking the opening.

Just wanted to say that isayama is a goat for making marcel's death (which before season 4 wasnt that big of a deal and a lot of anime onlys me included did not remember it) really impactful, everything this man puts into the story is important and missing a minor detail can prevent you from understanding the whole thing, its crazy.
Also reiner remembering sasha eating a potato first out of all the things that he experienced in paradis was so funny

100% , they went the extra mile when they could have just did basic animation like expected for a dialogue heavy episode

“Shit” would be berserk levels . Not many anime studios are capable of handling just these first two episodes the way they did

This. Lets wait before judging the quality of animation. Episode 1 and 2 were stellar in that regard, this episode in particular had a very dinamic camera and character movements which made the dialogues more interesting to keep up with for the average viewer. Hope they keep it going even tho im still worried

Yeah that was odd, but everything else was top notch
Its like saying wit did bad only because in the few instances the colossal titan appeared it stood out too much because of the bad cgi

Yeah it’s not bad, i’m enjoying the show a lot rn and first ep was phenomenal. Still that udo scene really was one of the worst things i’ve seen in anime in a while. A still of him talking would have been better. I just hope mistakes like this don’t happen in key moments in the story.

Yeah that's what im saying, lets wait for later episodes, if things like the udo scene keep happening and are more frequent then we can say mappa did a bad job, but as of now im very happy with what we're getting and i hope they keep it going
