The breakdown part?
See, a LOT of people clearly missed the point of that scene. That moment was INTEGRAL to Eren's character, because it shows him for who he truly is - and always has been - a very troubled, selfish child who is a slave to his very conflict driven nature.
Man you can justify it and even if those justifications make sense iit made him look like a beta simp when he was painted as a total bad ass for the later section of the show so the backlash is understandable
the anime did it justice
So it’s sounding like they kept “that” part in the movie. A lot of people thought they might remove it due to the immense backlash
Glad that all yeagerists finally saw the dumbass who Eren really is
People selective watch and ignore things based on what they wanna see. It was always set up this way idk why folks act surprised
I had a party but now I'm about log into crunchyroll with snacks and watch it in the right way
This ain’t as bad as this manga readers were b****ing abt, biggest fumble still GoT that low bar with S8
I been saying this from the jump. It literally started with niggas not getting THEIR way and not appreciating the actual story
Nice cope. Have a swing at any of my other issues with the ending
You niggas will do anything to avoid actually understanding the moment, even ignoring the actual translation lol

If none of this “alpha, beta” meme s*** never began on the internet Niggas would not be saying this.
Alright finished overall thoughts as someone who has been a fan since this anime came out
This was a good finale for an amazing ass anime. Not great but good. I've def had problems with the timeskip ever since the rumbling started before that I would say AOT was at it's peak. Ever since the rumbling i felt like a lot of plot points were coming way to quickly and a couple plot points never even got resolved (Mikasa relation with the hizuru, what the f\*\*\* was Yelena's deal? Feel like ackermans were really not touched apon, etc)
However i felt most characters got satisfying conclusions. Not sure how i feel about the ymir stuff with mikasa cuz i felt like other eldians like og ymir showed her being free from others. Eren is still one of the best characters of all time him being a pathetic man child is honestly what works best. Seeing eldia get bombed and the cycle starting over again was hella heart breaking. I like all of armins final moments. overall series is a highest 9.5 ill ever give. This man isayama gave us a masterpiece
This s*** really over bruh.
I don't think another anime will ever get this much attention out of me ngl.

Yeah idk what the f*** they were thinking. This is not GoT fumble.
Like GoT IS LITERALLY CANCER
I’m just glad AoE is officially dead.
There’s new chapters coming out in 2024 🤭🤭
Wym
Ah I thought you were referencing that weirdo fandom group that was redrawing and rewriting the ending to the manga
