Not entirely. It's hard. The ending was backed into a hard corner in how to deliver.

I posted an earlier fan made alternate doujin of how the "I hate the ending" crew wanted the ending to be. They got their entire subredit and website just for that s*** However, they're still writing such a s*** ending as well.

In contrast, writing a good ending to Eren is very apparent. They butchered his character into a complete psychopath who cares about nothing, when that's the exact opposite. Eren in the inside has always had that whiney side to him. Did we all forget how he was in the first three seasons?

Irl most people who do grow out of their past still have their past in themselves. The new characters traits we see in Eren in season 4 are character traits built on top. He had to toughen up in order to move forward. Dude was sad about Sasha dying.

It's impossible to please everybody with an ending. I thought the hate was vastly overblown.

his plan is so f\*\*\*ing stupid. it essentially is the partial rumbling plan that he rejected except you’d still have titans left on pardis and it would garner less hate. he left paradis defenseless and even more hated by the 20%
