I only watch the anime, so the most you'll get from this post is theory, there are no spoilers. For the most part I'm organizing my thoughts on what I just watched from all of S4 with a little guesswork on what will happen in part 2. This post is kind of scatterbrained and my ideas aren't exactly in order.

Every nation has their own objective: Marleys, to destroy the Paradis Eldians and procure the Founding Titan, to remain the strongest nation of them all. The result is the death of all island Eldians.

Yelena and the volunteers, to create a world where all races can live in peace Eldian/Marleyan/otherwise. The result is the "peaceful" euthanization of all island Eldians.

The Jaegarist BROTHERS plans are also to euthanize the Eldian race... but what Zeke describes is neutering them so they can no longer reproduce and go extinct from the world in a hundred years. But I can be flexible with this idea, I guess "euthanizing" doesn't sound as cruel and unusual as "neutering" a race of people (AHEM)... but Zeke plans to do this by using his royal blood in tandem with the Founding Titans power to change the anatomy of Eldians so that they can no longer reproduce...
-The easiest way to change this anatomy? To turn them into Titans, which have no means of reproduction... and from there, somehow shut them in darkness to weaken them to death.
-That is the plan as I understand it, but Zeke is still hiding some secret as to why he has this power, which means he likely has an ulterior motive.
-Erens initial conflict with Zekes plan was being forced to breed like livestock, but is more willing to be euthanized like a dog. That doesn't make any sense.
-But why would he need to hide a secret motive from Eren, if he was already brainwashing him? This is why I'm unsure of if Eren is being secretly brainwashed into believing he is acting on his own accord, or if he has a secret plan of his own.
-I believe Eren was somehow manipulated by Zeke or Yelena during their secret meeting, which is what put him on this path to self-destruction. On one hand it has been his motive this entire series to "destroy all titans," not Eldians, but now he's trying to make all of his allies Titans to justify destroying them.
-And Zeke has stated multiple times his vision a year from then is to -control- Paradis, not destroy it and its inhabitants. So now I'm confused.
-Eren is planning something with Falco, thats for sure.

Episode 74 mentions that there was a "pandemic" that devastated the population, that mysteriously "vanished" one day with an illustration of sunlight. It is my theory that this "disease" was literally being weakened to death by the lack of sunlight, and obviously cured by reexposure to sunlight. It is the only theme that has not been touched on, why Titans are "powered" by the sun, but it is because the King made them this way.

Paradis Islands (being Pixis, Zoe, Armin, and the rest of the good scouts) objectives are where I'm confused at. Are they still bent on negotiating a peaceful resolution with the outside world? They should know that was a nonoption FIRST from the moment Wiley declared war, and SECOND, when Eren ate Wiley, whether or not the lives of the civilians were involved. Eren politely waited for them to declare war to draw the first blood. So why are they resisting the "Jaegerist" movement, why not comply? Their only option is to engage in war from this point, its naive to believe otherwise.

And then there is Reiner. He still seems sympathetic towards the Scouts, which conflicts as his role as a warrior. I have no clue what he's making of this, except still remaining Marleys reluctant Warrior.

Whatever happens, Paradis Eldians are doomed anyway, there isn't a single big pro-Paradis player in this game. Literally everyone hates them and it is just a matter of how they will meet their end. They are still as much of victims as they were from Episode 1, and their fate rests in the greater hands above them. Their only hope is Armin to start using that intelligence he is known for to stop asking questions and start making moves... I've been very underwhelmed with his performance thus far and was expecting more from him. He didn't even organize the ambush on Marley, that was all Eren... even when if Erwin was alive, I feel like that plan would have been all his.

mikasa meets ymir (ymir’s apparition) while holding the head of eren. she then realises who has been looking inside her mind

    conversation between mikasa and ymir:

Mikasa: I think your love is like a long nightmare... all the lives that have been taken... you can’t get them back ... Even though that’s the case, this current version of me exists because you gave birth to those lives. Rest in peace... Ymir (Ymir’s apparition dissipates)

additional background - turns out the king actually died back then because ymir didn’t protect him from that god damn spear. ymir hugged her crying children

That last point??? So how do they explain Ymir passing on her powers to the children? Why would they eat her spine? Who would've even told them to? DAMN

Mikasa is in a ponytail when she visits the grave with kids. When she is old, she visits the grave with offsprings in a wheelchair.

just caught up on the new page leaks i think so i’m gonna rant about my thoughts

the entire season 4 was a s\*\*\*show excuse to be like “what if Eren turned into the villain” & it was just not good at all. if Mikasa gets married later on in life, good for her, Eren was ALWAYS an ass to her when he was alive. he could’ve just altered Eldian DNA to lose the Titan gene if Zeke was gonna be able to effectively neuter the Eldians. throughout the entire series, Eren took gambles where he risked EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, and he nearly always lost. this new ending makes him even more of a loser. i think that’s the point of it all. nothing Eren wanted to happen actually happened.
