I'm fine with where the narrative ended up, but on a character level I'm just so disappointed in the ending. It's a mixed feeling tbh. Not sure what to say

It feels like too much context is missing. The ending would be way better if it was a few chapters longer. I'm sure it'll be better in the anime but it's so...empty.

It could desperately use some OVAs

The basement reveal and the return to shiganshina arc was so f***ing good, definitely the peak of the series. Marley was pretty good as well but it started going downhill after that
