Code Geass literally has the GOAT ending, difficult to come close to something like that

ElectricThis ending just comes off as a generic shonen ending which for AoT is bad, but for any other anime it would be perfectly fine lol.
Eh people been trying to say generic Shonen is bleeding towards the end of th series, but it felt like just season 1 writing. Also full translations haven't been made it so we can still be wrong on some lines

The ending is ok but kinda weird.
Like some panels are still missing. Hope the anime fleshes out some fates.

eren simping for mikasa at the end...very beta. mikasa is the one to free ymir? how? historia's baby daddy being the farmer...hilarious that it had 0 depth. but then again it didn't matter who the father truly was. overall, not a great end but not a bad ending, but just an -ending-

At least Isayama stayed away from the idea historias babys being erens. That would have been complete out of character. More than his final I dont know why i did this talk with Armin.

Chief JulioYeah I think it's because many people saw Eren pulling a Lelouch as to why it's underwhelming. If Code Geass had never happened and this ending was more "original" I feel like the perception would be different but hey, you live with it.

kusaok wait we gettin s\*\*\* mixed up. when i say rushed, i dont mean in the normal way most manga s rushed to get an ending so they can release anime.
i mean it in a writing technical term type s\*\*\*. his intention in this scenario doesn't matter. if he thought he could make a good ending with 45 pages then that's cool, but he completely failed, and instead of releasing a satisfactory ending that was normal pace-wise, he INSTEAD released an ending that was rushed.
I can agree with this. I felt like with Ch 138 it didn't feel like a wrap up chapter. The chapter leading to the ending. It felt like still more was coming. Just felt weird.
