i would say AOT has higher highs and lower lows, this ending being a low lmfao. Code Geass isn’t the GOAT it’s cracked up to be imo, but it’s a solid show with a solid ending which is worth a lot

characters didnt get an ending, random character developments to push this ending, and there was not enough time to show what happened AFTER

i hate when people say s\*\*\* like "its his vision he can do what he wants" youre right he can, but that doesn't dismiss criticism.

i still love this series and its probably one of my favorite shows ever, but this ending could have been developed much better with like 5-10 chapters more.

But thats the thing, im not saying it cant be criticized, im saying how do you know its rushed? Its all an assumption, what if he didnt know how to expand any further after some chapters so he decided on this ending? Or the ending was already decided long ago?

i mean it in a writing technical term type s\*\*\*. his intention in this scenario doesn't matter. if he thought he could make a good ending with 45 pages then that's cool, but he completely failed, and instead of releasing a satisfactory ending that was normal pace-wise, he INSTEAD released an ending that was rushed.
