Can see some people hating on this because they got some crazy expectations and theories but fail to notice that there is only 2 chapters left.

The part where all the past titans were standing around Armin and Zeke made me think of the ending from the OG anime

Plus them sitting down and expositing the meaning of life felt waaaay left field for AoT imo. They don't usually mention the core themes so literally. It felt odd tbh. Either it's the translator's fault or the writing in this chapter is a little less subtle than usual

I mean if the translation is rough the official release is tomorrow so I can wait a day

138 has A LOT riding on it, now more than ever. don't think the chapter was completely terrible; actually liked it quite a bit. just raised some more questions and there's not a ton of time left for those questions to be answered.

Yeah 137 wasn't terrible, but a s\*\*\* storm with fans is happening because of the many things going on as far as ass-pulls and character reasonings.

Sucks that there's little to no time to flesh all of this out better but we'll see. Gotta have faith.

the time constraints are the only things that are really worrying me atm. think the story/ending will be fine. just really wish there was more time to flesh everything out. guess we'll see how it goes with the next chapter.
