Not only are you cutting costs but you're now pulling in multiple demographics onto one platform. Opening up the possibility for viewers to be exposed to new content they otherwise would not find without subscribing to another service.
This is what netflix should have done years ago but instead they chose to double down and churn out niche content to try to basically do the same thing Warner is doing rn

gotta say folks.....the outrage at this movie getting canned and ppl being mad at WB.....
no offense but where the f*** were all of these ppl back in 2017?? even with reports of the company screwing over poc and the actors and directors behind the scenes and f***ing around with their movies and even going as far as inventing fake movies to draw attention away from scandals.....
not a peep was uttered by the general audience..
its super good but SUPER odd that now all of a sudden mfs give a s*** about how badly wb (regardless of whos in charge) is f***ing up everything.
srsly. i feel bad for the creatives involved. but its hilarious that ppl are getting semi outraged and even WISHING d**th on the wb execs when i could have sworn that that type of behavior was "toxic"

what happened in 2017
they f***ed with a huge product a year before and then blamed it on a single person. following that action, they made that person revamp the entire slate of movies he had planned and then fired him from a movie he was filming, brought in a sexual abuser, cut out every POC from the film and spent an extra 30 million on cgi. that movie bombed and even the actors didnt want to talk about it until one of them made enough of a fuss.
