And there will absolutely be a large percentage of people who will just think “well this film will be on Netflix in a couple weeks, so I’ll just wait instead of paying for a ticket”

It would’ve been so unfortunate if Sinners would’ve just went right to streaming after a few weeks, but thankfully the film did well in the box office because of good word of mouth that kept growing every week

Anyone But You would’ve flopped if it was pulled after 2 weeks. That made its money with legs and led the narrative that romcoms can be successful in theaters
