Yeah, but some were like "remember this if you weren't paying attention" type flashbacks. Nothing egregious though.

most were the set up of the juke joint that we didn't get to see

    I'm usually with you tho

I think his intentions were probably at least a little more sinister than just loving movies but I see where you're coming from

He founded Skydance when he was 23 years old after dropping out of USC film school. I feel like he did it just because he wanted to work in movies and hang out with celebrities but was largely talentless

F*** Del Toro and Fincher too, heck f*** Scorsese too for giving them the Irishman

they probably gave Scorsese more money than gdt & fincher combined for the Irishman

In Scorsese’s defense, no other studio was willing to fund The Irishman besides Netflix

My view is that he is a giant piece of garbage and his only goal is to help conservatives win the culture war

Also we’re assuming a lot about this massive, massive mountain this deal needs to climb

It’s not looking good out the gate at all

The good news is that had it been Paramount, it’s very possible that the Trump administration and his Supreme Court could have just pushed it through

So thank god we’re not living in that timeline

I legitimately cannot believe there hasn’t been a physical release of Killers of the Flower Moon.

    Just absolutely mind boggling.

why would apple want you to own something forever when they could make you pay a subscription for the rest of your life for access to it

(applies to music streaming as well)
