i was a testing defender, ALLA acolyte, even Long Live has grown on me a lot since it dropped and i thought it was simply average

very consistent artist quality-wise imo, the relative lack of music he drops is beneficial in that way i think

glad someone told rocky—or maybe he came to this realization himself—that he should capitalize off of the whole rihanna thing

Honestly I’m at a point I’m done putting those type of expectations on artist. I just wanna enjoy the music.

i feel like ALLA did put him on the map with a lot of new listeners. its what got me into rocky and its still one of my favorite rap albums over the last decade. the problem was the music he followed it up with didn't click with most people

You’re probably right, testing was a good album Imo but not as good as his previous efforts. I guess I went to A.L.L.A because I walkways thought that album was underrated especially by Rocky critics who sleep on his rapping skills. Not saying Rocky is as lyrical monster but on that album he was rapping
