Pius XI isn't educated on communism enough to make a proper judgement and critique. He's addressing a very specific "brand" of communism that doesn't have to be the case for every single communist system
·1 replyAlexandrianThis guy not even confirmed which isn’t a bad thing but go ahead and tell your priest everything you believe about communism and ask him if it’s ok to believe these things as a Catholic. Then proceed to ask him if it’s ok to be a communist, accept and embrace the ideology and be Catholic at the same time.
Unless your priest is one that rejects teachings of the faith which is its own issue, there’s no chance he’s going to say communism is compatible.
