Maximizing streams with long, bouncing all over the place albums instead of having some type of musical direction
Maybe the biggest waste of pure talent of all time
I justistened to Janelle Monae's Archandroid and I didn't know she was that talented. So I'll say her

F***ing classic.
Stumbled on to that s*** when it came out. Idk if she has anything close to this in her anymore. Lightening in a bottle man. But she showed next level promise with that one. Good call
You never heard the leaked album?
A leaked album? So no he didn’t drop music?

No I only listen to albums. You talking about when he released his demos?
rxnephews manager is actively blocking me getting placements and its impossible to say how this might potentially jeopardise the trajectory of his career

It was meant to be his debut album. It was dope you should peep
Honestly .. Em
Em had his good years already. Just like Ye. But he's getting better with every release after Revival, he just needs good advice on what to keep and what not.
He has the potential to execute a lyrical and instrumental vision that could totally reinvent how we see the old school revival but we just hear him rap about bricks over pianos and guitar solos
He’s literally been doing this since like 2015
Especially on Blientele dawg
Nicki had a good pop rap album with the Pink Print. If she tried and went full rap, I don't think it would sell well, but I would be in, she has some verses I really like.

I swear this guy has an amazing ear for melodies and an amazing style. He just needs some kind of mentor to help him craft and curate an album that's heat from front to back, because until now, his projects have been a mixed bag of hits and misses. If he could focus for one project and cut the filler I'm certain he could deliver something great. Life's a Trip was kinda close, but not really it. He's just f***ing stupid
💯

Maybe. I’m just not into snippets or demos.

It was an album dog. S*** sounds exactly like any other album
you don't have to like his new music but from a songwriting perspective he's inarguably improved leaps and bounds since trilogy. some of the songs on those tapes are literally just him moaning aimlessly over ambient beats and are overly reliant on atmosphere and samples (mostly on HOB and thursday, by EOS he was starting to carve out his niche as a songwriter). it's just a bold faced lie to say he "refuses" to be great, he's always getting better, just not in the way you want him to.
He’s getting more accessible and pop friendlt but his songwriting was way more personal and detailed and simply way more interesting
It's that hard to believe I like Kiss Land? I think that sounds like you just hate it and want to believe I secretly do to but honestly I've loved it since the first time I heard it
I love Kiss Land. It’s actually my favorite Weeknd project Tears in The Rain go dumb. I’m saying the argument you’re using against him STARTED with Kiss Land so I don’t believe it’s a real opinion. I believe you used the stereotypical one hoping for likes and to seem like you know what’s going on

Agreed. Trippie def got the potential to drop a classic
