also this song starts out really high could've been this album's pov but respectfully nonna's outro ain't it, or rather we could've had more to the song and still had her at the end. overall feels like half the song ain't there it's missing a huge bridge and climax although i get that might've been the goal and if so it's a quaint little ending ig but just feels like a missed opportunity. i had a similar feeling about nunu off the schoolboy a album, felt like if it had more it could've been on par with kno ya wrong especially if it had a beat change. the horns are gorgeous on this track though ill give it that and the bass patch is nice and encompassing

like obviously My Everything is where she had hits out of the ass, but it also had really somber and beautiful tracks like Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart, or My Everything (which might be top 2 Ari for me tbh) it definitely neutered the more experimental aspect of Yours Truly though in exchange for the hits

her debut is probably the album i spent the least time (and is also my least favorite) with but ill revisit it since you’ve been praising it so heavily
