Dreaming the high point.
High key coulda been dope if the beat drop was a lil harder.
Coulda done without cool down but Company was cool.
Between all of her 3 albums this the lowest. But I also think Iāve just mighta outgrown ari lennox. Lot of this sounds like Iāve heard it before.
Tl;dr: It wasnt Dreamvilleās fault.
Going to peep soon
Not a bad album. Pretty good
It's not better than Age/Sex/Location
but there is a lot of heat on here
More later
starting to turn on this album
I enjoyed it at first but idk... every song is sort of about the same stuff?? not saying she has to sing about love or anything but there is clear LACK of love and yearning here. this is more "I just need sex" than something deeper and that kind of just feels like a turn off for me.
we're 3 albums in and I'm not seeing much growth here.

Like I said, it was never really Dreamvilleās fault.
She can sing amazingly but the pen game is not it
Gotta say the best songs on here
Vacancy
High Key
Horoscope
Pretzel
Hocus Pocus
Pretty good project but I do believe that oomp from her previous albums is missing

Vapid is the term that comes to mind

pretty hard for female rnb artists to grow. summer had the best growth then fell off imo

its definitely the pen, she ain't saying s***. me personally i take it a step further ion like the production either, it's not dynamic enough for my taste. I mean i hate to keep bringing her up but damn sza just got a chokehold on this s*** man. her pen is maybe the most insane one out there. she understands how to communicate her ethos so poignantly. her lyrics just stick to your ribs and stay with you all year long and she has an ear for standout production along with the wherewithal to perform on said production

problem is she can't hold a tune worth a damn so the vocal is the most obvious caked in melodyne 20 effects s*** i've heard in my damn life outside of straight autotune. in a just world sza would be writing for someone like ari but the game don't give a f*** about good vocals anymore so here we are
I'm surprised at the High Key love. Sounds like Ari demo'ing a half-done Mariah track. It's fine and catchy but she has her own sound, I don't really need to hear her trying that on.

That beat sounds like a demo

Yeah listening to static and bruh def peaked with her debut
