First time I’ve ever actually heard people call this album bad was when I first signed up for KTT in 2017 or so, literally everybody I knew irl loved this album
I don’t think so
First listen of 9 was great though i still remember that
Yeah its 2016 AOTY
Keep The Family Close
Feel No Ways
Controlla
Fire & Desire
Those are the top tracks in rotation right now but literally every song on the album is a classic. A solid 9 or 10 depending on the mood. I really think that album is when Drake became the GOAT of his generation even taking NWTS and IYRTITL into account you could argue that he'd peaked but Views proved he was in that MJ and Beatles tier that no other rapper touched since Wayne. I feel bad for anyone who wasn't outside that summer
you would honestly put it over Blonde, Blackstar, 22,A Million, Untitled Unmastered, A Moon Shaped Pool, Wildflower, We Got It From Here..., Atrocity Exhibition, and Malibu? I feel like this site only listens to mainstream hip hop..
I think there's more of an argument to put it in 10 worst albums of the year then the top 10 best.
I haven’t played it in a year and just ran it and this didn’t deserve the hate it got
It doesn't deserve the hate it got but even today is nowhere near his best. I've gone as far as calling it a sleeper classic but there are still a lot of stains on this album. I feel like Views could have been his best album and as a fan of his is is a mostly good project but not very ambitious and with a lot of lazy writing. Especially on the rap tip. If Drake stuck to his original vision for Views and took most of the rap songs off this album in exchange for more pop and dancehall leaning songs it would have been way better
It has been aging pretty nicely no lie. Wasn't really a fan of both views and pablo and 2016 but they grow on you
Didn’t really live up to the hype but the album wasn’t as bad as everyone says. There’s some timeless tracks on there but also a lot of filler shoulda been cut.
Classic like his whole discography

A part of Twitter was dunking on it tbh. in real life, the people i know like it
it's got some bops that I'll come back to but I'm not playing the whole album, which is pretty much every Drake album since 2016 for me

Redemption might be my favorite Drake song
