Need some new shoes for standing and walking 7+ hours in a pharmacy that look good too. I have flat feet so need something with cushion & arch support. Was looking at some foam runners or ultraboosts
look into new balance 990 v5 or crocs or anything cushioned from HOKA. idk who started that whole 'foams are so comfortable!' thing but it is most definitely not true
They’re probably the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn so I don’t see why not. Tbh no shoe is comfortable for just standing in place all day

Before my promotion I stood, walked, and carried things a lot all day at work. I tend to wear Merrell tennis shoes or hiking boots/shoes. But the best shoes in terms of support and comfort hands down were some Altra's mid-top sneaker/boots.
I was in REI buying a new windbreaker, and decided to look at shoes just out of boredom. I ended up seeing these, a brand I've never heard of (I dont keep up with this market much) and thought they looked nice and I've always liked mid-top shoes.
Asked to try them on. After literally a couple mins of walking around I bought them, even though they were pretty pricey compared to my trusty Merrell boots. But as soon as I stood up and took a step with each foot, I instantly thought they might legit be THE most comfortable shoes I've ever walked in.
And they stayed comfortable forever. The soles/cushion, arch support, and ankle supports never started to feel negatively worn-in. Also these are all-weatherproof which is a huge plus for me living in a city that is covered in 2-12 inches of snow/slush for 4 months a year.
HOWEVER, idk if it was just my pair being defective or if it's a wider issue with these specific models, but after 6 months or so both shoes developed rips/holes in the exact same spot (inside part of toe crease). They do have a free replacement warranty however.
If you're able to find this model or similar Altra models near you, I HIGHLY recommend going to try them on yourself and see if you like them.
Edit: Looks like they recently released a newer model of the shoe i link above and fixed some construction issues:

In my experience (not just me but people I know too), Crocs really aren't great for long continuous walking/standing tbh. They're amazing for short term or casual wear, but your feet will start hurting in them after a while when you work long straight shifts.
I can't begin to tell you how many restaurant and hospital workers I know who started wearing crocs on the floor cause of they're really great for non-slip and casual comfort, but after a month switched to shoes that are more common to see in those jobs like Dankso clogs, Hoka or New Balance sneakers, etc.
But you better believe when I'm doing stuff around the house or just going out to run a couple errands, I keep a pair of Crocs on my feet lol. I have clogs but for the past 6 months I have been wearing a pair of their Recovery Slides, which literally feel like you get a slight bounce with every step. So comfy
Foams might not be the best after that many hours…not much cushion
Yeezy 380s are the most comfortable shoes ever..so much boost cushioning
