Made their money and got out of there swiftly

23k currently playing on Steam, not horrible, especially when there’s something like marathon to compare it to. But the all time drop off is brutal to see.

If they just would’ve kept pumping out new maps and big community events every few months

Could make a good argument for their winter break no content period being the nail in the coffin.

Game was at its absolute peak, player and content wise, but people were already starting to get bored. They went radio silent for nearly 3 months. Came back with a half assed new map and gameplay changes nobody liked barely anything since
