    https://pitchfork.com/news/apple-music-now-has-more-paid-us-subscribers-than-spotify-report/

    2019 article tbh

Yeah I saw that, but that was in 2018

Spotify has ballooned since then and Apple Music has all but stagnated

Most recent numbers I saw said that Spotify has 55M US subscribers and Apple Music has 40M

He’s not too strong of a singles artist and has failed to diversify himself post astroworld

  • #11 probably isn’t Young Thug, he’s likely top 10

dude wrote that like streaming charts should reflect anything other than who got the most streams during the existence of streaming

might not still be true but Spotify’s prime consumer base is the people who got into rap in 2016 then pivoted to country in 2020 so idk why anyone on a music forum would proudly state that they use that service

I don't hate Post's music but the whole 'get big off rap and genre switch when it's convenient' gimmick rubs me so incredibly wrong

Okay crazy that he beat them lmao forgot about Taylor

Although that did behind her streaming era of releasing something that was listened to for one week total with no more actual hits.
