Anybody else experience this? So I was looking forward to my may replay to see my top songs/albums and then I noticed that no Thriller songs were in my top songs and Thriller wasn’t in my top albums of the month either

Thought it must’ve been a mistake or something. Reloaded—now I know Beat It and Baby Be Mine gotta be in my top 3 of the month. They don’t even show up top 10

I know for sure Thriller should be my #1 album. Not even showing up

So I go to google and Twitter to see if this is some sort of issue for May. Turns out, this has been going on for at least a year. It’s known as the “Thriller Glitch” to AM users. Even the AI prompt at the top said it’s a well known error that happens to AM users specifically with this album

And countless other sites as far back as 3 years ago, ONLY mentioning Thriller. So you’re telling me the only album that has a problem showing up on playlist is the biggest album of all time? smells 🐟 to me

Huh? Why would they not track from the artist's page

idk I noticed it doesn’t do that, maybe the system assumes it’s not added to your library when you follow that chain of listening

Apple music is so wonky, a lot of it is because it's built on top of the old ass itunes infrastructure they've used since the beginning iirc

iCloud library letting you upload and sync your own tracks is way too convenient to give up tho
