Thanks man, seems like it was already turned off but 'Allow Siri When locked' was enabled so that might've been it.

need my next car to have carplay

It’s essential lol....when I got my car earlier this year that’s the first thing I looked for.

It’s a big plus when you don’t want to carry your phone everywhere

my car year is the year before they changed the system to carplay so i got this wonky ass stock microsoft based software its s***e

Yeah that’s the worst lol, my only issue with CarPlay is that it can’t connect wirelessly. My USB port is in the center console so I have to open it and connect it every time I hop in. It may not seem like much but after awhile I wish I can hop in and go. If you really have CarPlay as your top priority for your next car....pay attention to where the USB port for CarPlay is located. With that being said the audio is better since you are using the lightening cord over connecting Bluetooth.

have you tried the wireless adapters? i had seen some on youtube that work well apparently. i think my next car is gonna be the ford bronco and they said it’s shipping standard with wireless carplay i tried it on my moms car and it was so convenient to not have to be touching my phone and s*** directions and changing playlists

makes sense if you go out on a run/gym or something, but besides that i feel like i need to take my phone with me everywhere

Man I saw a new Bronco the other day on the street and yeah those are clean af . They gonna complete well against Jeep.

Very convenient, don’t really have to touch your phone at all. Siri can do pretty much do everything you need while driving.

You’d be shocked that once you start leaving your phone that it’s not really necessary for daily things like going to the grocery store, making quick stops etc.. cellular watch and AirPods all you need. It also gives you more pocket space which I’m big on.

The apple watch can hold music and connect to airpods????? Or it runs apple music?? can it connect to the car and play music via bluetooth?? This technology is amazing

I agree with the pocket space tho, i find myself holding the phone in my hand just so it dont bunch up in my pocket

It runs on Apple Music, but you can download music on them from AM. Yeah it can connect to car Bluetooth but I wouldn’t recommend it because navigation on watch isn’t like CarPlay or an actual phone.

Same here I love my traditional watches but Apple Watch makes daily life much more convenient.

Well I don’t think Ford isn’t gonna abandon it because people are buying trucks/suvs more in general. I think the only car Ford makes now is the Fusion. And of course the sport scars like Mustang. Bronco gonna be a hit I just know it.

Damn s*** sounds perfect for running errands and going to the gym like you said, i now see the light, really considering picking one up sometime in the near future

that’s also why the cellular model is essential. So cool that it makes the iPhone seem more like a tablet or PC but way more portable, only take it with when you need it.
