Also the bezels don’t look nearly as slim as they were rumored to be, even if they’re still “the thinnest on an iPhone”
Not sold on upgrading lol only like the camera & chip really (new battery is always nice tho)
Can someone sum up the event? I’m at work and I can’t really research now
From what I’ve seen the only change is USB C
Have a 13 pro max and 14 pro max wonder how to finesse this the best to get the most $$$
I know you can trade in a device when buying a new device obviously. You can also trade in devices to get an Apple gift card I thought about trading in my watch for one.
Idk if they’d let you use a gift card and a trade in device at the same time. They should but they could be super strict about s*** like that.

You didn’t miss much honestly lol

Just a marketing tactic like “this is the best iPhone we have made yet!” No s*** it is the newest one of course it will be better than all the old ones 💀

iphone 15: iphone 14 pro but with one less camera, no pro motion and usb c
iphone 15 pro: iphone 14 pro but 10% faster chip, usb c, titanium
thats about it

Very disappointing. I’m expecting these to completely flop
A very underwhelming event. I wish Steve Jobs was still alive. There really hasn't been any innovation with Apple.
IOS 17 release candidate out now
The past couple iPhones have seemed to be mostly upgrading features rather than adding new ones (better camera, faster CPU chip, longer battery life).
What would you guys like to see Apple explore in terms of new features?
Narrowed it down to 14 Pro and 13 Pro. I don't really mind the dynamic island on the 14, probably won't have much use for it, it actually seems like it could be distracting. Makes me lean towards getting the 13 Pro. The upgraded camera on the 14 Pro seems to be the main reason to grab that though.
I want to see how someone actually makes an iPhone battery last 24 hours that s*** is f***in cap

smartphone technology is damn near close to peaking. like i’m not sure what they could add at this point

the only thing i’d really like is the option to turn off the AI processing on iphone photos lol. ‘deep fusion’ or whatever. but even the camera almost rivals my point and shoot digital camera at this point and is more convenient to use than carrying around two devices.

Their last major update was the iPhone X with no home button for sure and that was 5 years ago. Opened up so much screen real estate. Pretty crazy.
Outside of battery upgrades and insane 240HZ screens I don't really see much of what they can improve on. The action button just seems like they'ew bored at this point but I get it. Adds more customization. It just seems like they keep trying to improve something that has already been pushed so far
It’s gonna cost me 200 to upgrade. Now I doubt if I should, but this feeling happens every year
