Copped an iPad Air but considering returning it and getting the Pro for future-proofing purposes I’m coming from a 2013 OG Air so I’m spoiled as f*** either way. If anyone owns one or the other and would like to share their experience it would be appreciated

Yeah it’s tough bc it’s literally just how good the Pro’s display is that’s holding me back because the M2 is so powerful at this point

I use an m2max MacBook for work so it would definitely be for more casual use (textbook reading, web browsing, videos, light work done on Pythonista) think it would still be worth it or do you think I’m good sticking with the Air?

it you’re using it for essentially a media device, the air is the typical route and you could even get a good amount of heavier work done. That being said, try finding an M1 Pro on Best Buy or other sites. Usually a big discount even though it’s only a year old, but the specs still heavily beat out the air and it’ll future proof you for a bit

same boat, think i might get the m2 air 13inch, difference between m2 and m3 wont be much if you casually use your lapotp like me

best MacBook for that use case and will last a very long time if you upgrade the ssd and maybe the ram, M2 is such an amazing chip. thing is a beast

Really split between the 15in m2 air vs 16in M1 Pro MacBook Pro. Can basically get them for the same price. The 16 is heavy as f*** but the screen is too nice
