after thinking about it this is cool af for a first gen product. eye tracking and hands free controlling was a peak at the future. they planting the seeds for an ar/vr device that can go mainstream.

i think by 4th/5th gen when they can bring this tech to more of a glasses form factor it’ll be a gamechanger.

The Oculus DK1 (tethered) was announced 11 years ago
The Oculus Quest (untethered) was announced 5 years ago
