Imagine the other side of that birthday party moment. You’re a kid growing up watching your dad watch you through that thing on his face. You can see his eyes through a screen. Every major moment, graduations, prom, etc. - you’re looking at all of your loved ones behind a black helmet. Yes, it can be immersive when relived, but at the cost of being actually present in the moment.

Idk it’s not too much different than everyone filming everything on their phones functionally, but it’s the disconnection from the eyes and face that are really getting to me.

Edit: also highly unlikely people are about to be walking down the street with this s***, but if they do I really hope there’s some kind of external indicator that they’re filming…
