Hey if I delete all my photos from my iphone but save it on my hp laptop will the pics be still on my lap top? I have 4000+ pics and 90% of them are of my cats which I never wanna lose but also would like to clear up some space on my phone

if they are saved locally on your laptop then they’ll be fine unless anything happens to your laptop

alternatively you could put them on icloud or an external hard drive

How do I put them on iCloud or can I put them on a usb?

Icloud will be the most convenient if you have a bunch of apple stuff and want to access the photos regularly , but you’ll probably have to pay monthly to host the files (i pay $3 a month for 200gb i think)

usb could work depending on storage size but it would be more risky than external hard drive due to it being small and potentially lose-able and less future proof

depends how important the pictures are to you ig

Can anyone help with detecting a 3rd monitor on my Air? I'm using a dell docking station and my 2 monitors connected to it are mirroring. Googling it says to hold the option key in displays to bring up 'detect' but it's not doing anything for me. TIA! @monster @ghosting @Cody

Edit: I found "detect display" but it won't let me click it

Cant wait to upgrade, would have been cool if it were to have usb-c this year instead of next year
