Yeah I did my research. Settled on midnight with 16gb ram and 512 SSD. Thought about getting the pro instead but with my student discount it’s like a $400 difference

Hey Apple community. My whole life I’ve relied on Windows software to get the job done. I LOVE my iPhones, but I never felt the need to get a MacBook besides fitting in with my college peers. Now my ASUS laptop that I’ve owned since 2017 is acting sluggish and I think it’s time for a change. I was considering getting the M2 Air for my basic laptop needs, but I was also thinking about getting into more creative hobbies like Video editing or even music production, and figured that the M2 Pro might be more effective. What do you guys think?

Fair man it’s an amazing laptop! I just think the MBP is worth the extra $ given the display and speakers (I don’t use it for professional reasons either). My wife’s MBA is on the way I’m hyped to try it out

Got the Airpods Pro, technically the first Apple product I own.

First thing I noticed immediately is the ANC is just insane on these. Thought I went deaf for a half-second They really just clear out almost everything passive.

First impressions otherwise is that they're a very comfortable fit and I can see how people can sleep in these (i.e. Linus from LTT). I barely notice them even though they use silicone tips.

Only thing I noted so far negatively is that the sound quality is ok but I expected more from earbuds at this price point. They're not bad by any means, but there's a lot they can improve. This can def change once I f*** around with the EQ though.

if you want a leather I like the Nomad one, good quality and protective, but it’s a little thicker than the apple case

i just need to vent somewhere that the new shaking head emoji is just poor design. looks so bad.

IMO they’re the only cases worth buying. I’ve had like 3 of them now, not gonna use anything else. Off brand leather cases all look corny to me
