it's amazing. really clean and best trackpad ever. keyboard is great. i'm just trying to get used to the control/cmd button and learning all the shortcuts. its smooth af. ive only had it for like 2 days so its going to take some time before im comfortable with the os though. i lowkey miss windows for now lol

same, i'm actually still switching between my mac and windows just cause i type faster on it. but you can really tell the difference in quality and it's nice if you have an iphone, a little ecosystem going and everything.

i got the macbook pro 16' i7

the chip apple has in the ipad pro rn is as good as the 13 inch i7 quad core macbook pro that’s out

if they scale it up to 12 full speed cores it should be competitive with the i9 in the 16 inch

the current line of laptops have trouble keeping high voltage and clocks because of poor cooling, these new chips will have no cooling issues and be able to run for hours at those top speeds

also the battery life under heavy load should be 3x

bros they brought back the bg that matches the album cover color in AM

Ableton (learning still), fl studio, audacity

You should be fine as Apple did say they have programs built in x86 working as they have a translator that’ll convert the code but in any case wait it out a month or two and see what happens

It's sad really, lol

ableton should run fine, I'm sure they'll have an update early on that will add arm support

some plugins could take a bit to update to arm tho

How much does it cost to repair an iPhone X screen? My s*** is f***ed up but I’m waiting for the next phone to drop to upgrade.

I keep seeing it costs $270 but I rather buy a whole new phone than pay that much to fix it tbh

Havent had any problems yet except some of my widgets don’t update lol otherwise this s*** feels like it’s official

I’m assuming everybody with the beta has a paid developer account? When does the beta go live for the public?
