Just ordered the sierra blue pro

already got the money up for a 1TB 16 inch

thought if they don't offer 32GB option i'll pass tbh

they will definitely offer 32gb probably even larger sizes imo

the RAM, GPU, SSD are all on the CPU.. it's all one SoC (System on a Chip) so there really is no reason to have 32gb for a low end mobile SoC when it's easier to have two versions and save the larger RAM sizes for the better SoCs with more cores

the M1 has 1 PCIe 16x lane, support for 2 displays and not much else

it's obviously for small Mobile devices, the M1 I think is the base for Mac devices and the other chips will be a lot more advance versions with way more RAM, Cores, SSD, PCIe lanes, Displays etc

they'll need a chip for Mac Pro soon enough

this new SOC will be for the higher end MacBooks / rumored larger iMacs

they know most of their consumers will still buy it anyway.
