No idea either, iOS 18 wasn’t great but would gladly downgrade back to it over what I’m now stuck with
the new slideover is so trash it’s insane
my biggest issue with iOS 26 is how it feels like no UX designers were involved
everything is hidden or requires multiple taps to get to; there's nothing intuitive about navigating the system

Too concerned with stretchy tab bars and adding fake shine to app icons
I’m starting to really hate the 17
The typing is horrific
Just tried for 20 minutes to sync it so I could listen to new twigs and jean Dawson at work and s*** just flat out refused. Tried restarting iTunes and my phone and nothing. I’ll have to restarting my MacBook after work

Yeah my typing is f***ed and I thought what is wrong with me, but then I’ve saw it’s a wider issue

Apple Music sucks to navigate. So bad
F*** these bums my iphone 16 battery used to last 24 hours or even more now it barely goes past 14
they just added a swipe to go to the next song feature on apple music that’s super easy to trigger
do those of yall with the 17 Pros have cases that cover the plateau? All of mine cover it but i just got a leather one that doesn’t and im unsure of if its safe to have it open lol
My iPhone 15 screen is cracked and it looks like it'll cost $329 to fix at Apple or Best Buy.
Do y'all think it makes sense to try to replace it myself or upgrade to the 17 Pro (I was going to wait for the 18, but idk rn)?
How do yall feel about the iPhone air?
I have a 14 pro and ready to get a new phone and I don’t think I need a Pro anymore

Personally I think it’s a complete gimmick and isn’t worth the money. In almost every way it’s worse than either a standard 17 or 17 Pro. The kind of trade offs you’d see in a sub-$500 handset being sold for $1,000 is crazy.

It's a very nice phone but probably objectively the worst in their modern lineup (vs. 17, 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max). If you're coming from a 14 Pro and don't need newer Pro features, though... I'd at least go hold it and check it out. The design is really nice. My biggest gripe was the single speaker

Heading to the Apple Store now, gonna get my hands on it
