Thats wild, i guess thats one way to get more than 8 tracks deluge has basically unlimited tracks and a real synth engine and its cheaper than the OT somehow

How do u like the deluge as a synth?

unfortunately i dont own one but i did get to demo one for a couple hours. it's far from a great synth the presets sounded pretty nice behind some reverb and i'm pretty sure it has an FM engine as well as subtractive capabilities based on samples. the main appeal of the system is definitely the sampling and sequencing. really f***ing cool piece of hardware with easily the best functionality for your buck that i've seen in a main-brain type machine

Yeah the deluge seems like great value from the vids I’ve watched especially coz of the unlimited tracks but I probs won’t get it then as I’m moving away from the sampling workflow and I’ve already got a sequencer
