Still have no idea what to expect from this one

I feel like this could end up being divisive because the studio will of course plaster the words “FROM THE DIRECTOR OF OBSESSION” on all the trailers for this, and people are going to be expecting this to be creepy af instead of a buddy comedy with horror elements

This movie is likely going to be closer in tone to their that’s a bad idea skits just FYI

Yeah he’s said it’s like Key & Peele in a horror movie, and That’s A Bad Idea is listed as a production company on this one.

I think a lot of people will be disappointed, unfortunately

I just hope the marketing sets the expectation

Of they decide to market this as the true follow up to Obsession (like as in tonally) then that might be a huge mistake

He does have the TCM remake in the works and I feel like that could cater more towards the people expecting something more akin to Obsession

Sounds unbearable. Decades late Paranormal Activity/Blair Witch parody with Family guy style bickering back and forth, soy facing, and obvious irony between these 2 sounds like cinematic hell. I bet they make Aaron Paul super dramatic to add some edge like every director has done with him post BB. Will watch for Bryce

This comes out after the Oscars. They don’t need more time than that.

Its trailers will be coming out while Curry will still be campaigning, at academy screenings, at award shows etc. obsession fever will very much still be a thing during it’s award season presence.
