You ain't ever lied about reading five books over the summer and got the coupons?
Wow I have never seen this
Yup this used to be the spot for after school and after little league games. Or just a regular night out with the family. According to the thread though a few of them still exist but I haven't eaten in one or seen one in years. Since 2009 I think, then before that like the 90s

BRUH
my nigga really brought up the pizza hut "Book It" thing
Man I remember that s***. I think you had to, like you said read (just write the book titles lol) some books. I thought it was more than five though but I don't remember. At least that's what I think you are referring to unless it's something different. I f***ed with goosebumps though so I did at least most of the time actually read the books
Every fast food restaurant was a sit in restaurant. Especially shut like Pizza Hut.
S***s crazy now
Yeah this is true actually. I feel like the Internet with online ordering, cell phones, and just an overall way more fast paced world is what kind of phased the sit down aspect of fast food joints out.
Real ones ate at Cici’s Pizza over Pizza Hut
Cicis is cool. Would say better, but the buffet hits for sure. That don't have those everywhere like pizza hut though so a lot of people didn't have a choice. We didn't have them where I lived growing up, but they have them here where I live now

It was called "Reading Across Broward" back in my day and it was a whole cardboard wheel of coupons for all sorts of stuff.
Pizza Hut
Butterfly World
Chuck E. Cheese
Discovery Zone
Roadhouse Grill
Crazy.

I'm a millennial, I'm talking pre-ipod nostalgia here.
In America, there were these initiatives to try to get kids to read more books by turning it into a competition.
You would earn certain prizes if read a certain number of books and kept a log of it. The most common prize being the coupons i mentioned earlier.
And by the end of the year, they would give out trophies.
