it's aight. kratom is cheaper and better imo. i take kava every now and then in place of alcohol when i'm watching a movie at night.

Kratom is a better feeling but the withdrawals are trash and it’s addicting and it dehydrates the s*** out of you, I’m withdrawing from it now

Yeah I've heard THAT one before...

Its not. But kratom is and unfortunately its commonly sold at the same bars and they push it more than kava usually when you go. Friendly reminder, Kratom simulates opioid effects and its withdrawels are terrible. Kava is great though and makes you relaxed and social but it can be heavy on the liver so chase it with water.

I know for Kava specifically there’s a reverse tolerance so you start off not feeling it but as you drink it regularly you become more sensitive to it

Kratom will work if you take it enough times. Like weed you won’t necessarily get high the first time
