90% of artists are dam near self sufficient and just collaborate with their friends all you gotta do is cater to your fan base & grow through the Internet
it really isn't. there's only a limited amount of bandwidth in our heads for a certain amount of artists. Not everyone can be popping or else that would mean the s*** aint even special
