Depends, I’ve seen some artist earlier into their career then much later and it’s like a whole new experience cause most of the time they dropped more hits, had different eras, etc.

people with western gaze look at concerts as monumental events that not only provide access to celebrity and idol seemingly far from their reach but also goes to prove the 'development' of any given region that enjoys regular tour stops and popular festivals

before anybody comes in saying im hating--I enjoyed a fair share of concerts, from philharmonies to venues of various capacities. concerts are cool but im not into live music that much and the mythology of concerts is cool too but I dont fall for that all the way and dont treat it as some sort of staple of civilization

Had fun at a bunch of them earlier in life but don't really see myself going to many more. No one I care about is still performing regularly and no one current really excites me like that

Yea i never was into it but as a artist I like a***yzing the performance

east asian idol culture is one thing coming to mind for me

and also how much better/more excited latin american crowds always seem to be compared to american ones (for any type of artist)

but i think the anglo/western influence could factor into those too i guess idk

I like concerts but they either have to be playing live instruments or the production better be fire.

A lot of concerts lack in both of those though.
