    thats sick af. What kinds of things are you sequencing? Like is your lab looking at anything specifically?

    We have a few diff panels with different targets. So ones that sequence someone’s whole exome, or more targeted ones that look only at genes that are known to be relevant to cancer treatment / diagnosis

    Couple new panels on the way that are pretty crazy too. We can detect tumor cells that are just circulating in blood and tell you very accurate cancer treatment progress.

    Or get fetus DNA from the moms bloodstream at ~6 weeks pregnant

    Hey @op , glad you brought this up, I’m actually somewhat of an expert myself. I’ve been going once a month for the past few years at a local clinic that offers preventative care. It’s actually covered by my insurance so it’s only $50 a visit haven’t had many sides so far, just lost about ~110lbs and my hair is pretty frail. But my doctor said the chances of me ever catching it in my mid 20s is “less than zero”
