Dec 22, 2021BGLike on this forum theirs so much discussion. theres reviews websites that give scores for music, you can watch online the likes of anthony fantona and now theres a numbers of lists out for the best albums and songs of this year. you can pretty much just read all this info and you dont even listen to the music and start to throw around your opinion.
theres also sales figures which you can use to back yourself up.its almost a waste of time to listen when you could be already posting about it. takes like 5 mins to scan some comments.. an album takes soo much longer
Music criticism has literally fell of a cliff over the last decade, you should actually be disgusted by it and not take any of it seriously.

Saying u never heard a song is just that tho. I’m not giving opinions on something I never heard.
I also feel like I don’t need to listen to every single artist in this era of the clones. If they good enough they’ll breakthrough and I’ll be forced to listen.
Dec 22, 2021I’ll admit that I only do this with newer artists and it’s a bad habit. I’ll write them off public perception and ratings sometimes then I’ll listen and either agree or hate myself for not trying.
That being said, I was not gonna listen to Roddy new joint based off seeing the reception it got but I needed to listen to stuff to get my mind off s*** and honestly it isn’t as bad as people are making it out to be lol
