May 5, 2020·2 repliesPulpI mean to me stuff like Marvin's Room, HOWGH, Child's Play, Summer Games etc paint a weird view on relationships with women. It's cool if you like the songs but I understand why someone would find the lyrics overly possessive and grooming-like.
I can't think of other artists who build their songs on wanting their partner to change their life to suit the artist more in a relationship, especially cause a lot of his other tracks are about how he can't change his lifestyle for the significant other lol. Like in the track on Views where he talks about how the girl complains about the homies having to live in the house with him.
