They've been beefing..
They still didn't acknowledge the 102B
Drake has repeatedly stated artists / labels should get stream incentives.
UMG has been at odds with Spotify.
Artists used to just deal with Labels.
Now they deal with Spotify controlling their water too right at the source.

Kendrick concert was Spotify backed for other reasons. The auto playlisting for NLU etc. Spotify is trying to replace Drake most people still haven't noticed

Idk you could search something random and Not like us came up lol it was weird. As if they were deliberately pushing more with the fake streams Kdot bought. I think Drake pissed off a lot of people including DSPs by moving how he wants and acting a certain way. Everyone was chiming in to get some payback one way or another. End of the day we’ll see how it all plays out either end of a historic run or beginning of another one

I can buy him feeling a way about the lack of acknowledgement and pushing NLU though
