He said the average song for standard Drake albums is 21 tracks and was proven wrong 30 minutes later and all he could say was "I'm not reading this blah blah" even when you prove them wrong these types are always so see through with their phony behavior "I am a Drake fan I promise!" doesn't know how long his albums are then it's back in the next Drake thread with a new angle. Rinse and repeat every week. By next month he'll have forgotten all this and how we schooled him on Drake care package drops

I never said that. You need to learn how to read.

I said the average number of tracks on a Drake project since 2016 is exactly 20.1.

This is what I mean about Drake stans on here creative fake narratives

Have you ever thought that part of the reason Drake is as big as he is is because he intentionally seeks out to appeal to various different demographics and audiences? He’s even said this himself.

On a project like More Life alone, he’s appealing to:

    • trap fans
    • lyrical rap fans
    • pop fans
    • house fans
    • UK rap fans
    • R&B fans
    • dancehall fans

That’s seven different lanes right there, and the project contains no superstar level features on it.

Thug, Latto, Red, etc. are not the biggest artists in the world, but they have carved out respectable niches for themselves in the space that they exist. Drake working with them bring their fanbases into his.

It’s not always about two mainstream superstars working with each other, it can also be working with smaller but still respected artists, Kanye did the same thing throughout the course of his career, that’s why he’s still relevant today

Sure but not everyone who tries multiple things has what it takes be successful at doing it. If he just tried a bunch of s*** and fans of that genre didn’t like they wouldn’t stick with it but they do,anyone could try to make house or dancehall but that doesn’t mean it would actually be appealing you do have to actually make a good song, it’s not like just being in the genre guarantees you success

I never said he wasn’t successful at it. Drake is very talented, and that’s how he’s able to pull it off.

But that talent level is also why I feel disappointed by his projects since 2016, because I know they could be so much better and focused than what we end up getting

You just said exactly what I said

    I said “nowadays”

The whole time the discussion was about his track lengths before 2016 and after 2016.

Is 20.1 not extremely close to 21?

You said the minimum songs on a Drake album lately is 21 when it's not

And then immediately switched to an "average" after that to seem right

Dark Lane, HNVM and Her Loss are all around 15 songs

Again, if you inserted yourself into the conversation without understanding what it was about, then that’s your problem.

The entire conversation was about the average number

You mentioned Take Care deluxe in response to @Cielo_Drive you were all over the place on that topic and only came up with 2016 afterwards. We was talking about 09-24 with you until you said "nowadays" specifically and that was debunked. If we take your very specific window it still wouldn't be the average

That was like four pages into the conversation

Simple English would explain to you that if the average of his tracklists in a timeframe are around 21, then that means that most of his post-2016 projects are at least 21 songs long
