I need to get around to finishing Gintama but Bleach and Monogatari keeping me fed rn

gintama is better experienced weekly

bleach has too much stuff for binge watching and monogatari needs undivided attention

so if I was you I'd go Monogatari > Bleach > Gintama

like most ongoing shounen it has its highs n lows but to be honest you have to be a seasoned naruto fan to enjoy it

only season 1. everywhere i looked ppl said it picked up by ep 10 and if you weren't hooked by then you weren't gonna like it. like none of it was engaging for me

a lot of old anime bore me cause they essentially just do baddie of the week with the actual plot progressing slow af.

it’s pretty decent imo but def highly overrated

that's how i'd rate it as well, not saying it was bad or anything, but the characters and story were all pretty surface level and not that technical imo

Nah bro trust me it picks up in a major way. I went from barely caring about the show to being completely invested in it - and it def happened post ep 10. Lelouch is a goated character. I cannot imagine someone finishing the show and regretting it.

i'll let you know, but if it's a chore to watch i'm just gonna drop it honestly

i have a strong feeling it's mid til the last half of season 2, cause all of the first season was like 5/10
