I used to read the manga like a yr or two ago. Honestly not bad. I think the power system had potential, and it's cliche but it does that stuff well enough to be enjoyable.

I dont really care about filler and all of that as long as the core story is good

bleach is a fun ride but as a series it kinda coasts off of its cool ideas and aesthetic. writing wise its not all the way there, full of asspulls and missed potential, but half the fun in being a bleach fan is being able to laugh at all the dumb s*** that kubo puts in the story.

imo just watch/read up to the end of soul society arc and see if you feel like continuing from there.
