damn chihayafuru actually just consistently gets better throughout every season. the rewatch has made me think about it more and more how each moment just gets more and more hype and how various different types of characters get their shine throughout the whole thing

u need to finish season 2 it has a top 5 moment in the series. it's so good. god i love chihayafuru.

if u thought season 1 was good (personally i thought it was mid) u will love everything that comes after because it gets even better

yeah, I thought it was really good. I liked the chemistry between characters and the somewhat episodic interactions that all connected to the overall ''plot''

one of the tropes ive seen in rom coms is ''the loner loser that pulls straight 10s cause f*** you thats why'' but with the dynamic of renting girls it felt more believable and was even more hilarious to think of as I reflect on it rn

but -judging from the source material- it could go on for 2-3 more seasons and build a cult following like oregairu

the ending was in no way rushed tho so props to the studio that made it
