its pretty good but you have to accept that the MC is a cornball loser (think like subaru from re:zero if you've seen that), imo he becomes more redeemable throughout the series but he never straight becomes strong enough to beat people up and makes bad decisions alot because's stupid

I think Lelouch just got really lucky. All of his enemies are stupid none of them is a mental challenge like L. He also technically killed more innocent people than Light and he could've done it in a more peaceful way. All he wanted was to avenge his father right? Just kill or torture him how is instigating and winning a war easier when you have mind control on your hands? And yeah I know it's for plot reasons but really, it's more about how the anime portrays them than how they really are. Light is an amazing villain. Him falling off and learning his lesson was important for the message for the anime. Idk if Lelocuh learned anything tbh.

I still dont think that's something only a genius level mastermind would do. Like i said he has charisma and the looks, hes also a good manipulator, he can twist people in order to make them do what he wants, but i dont think hed be able to make plans on the level of light and lelouch cause we've never seen him do something like that. Like he crossdressed as a woman to manipulate people i wouldnt classify that as genius masterplan tactic, he knows his strenghts and utilizes them fully. But anyways this has turned into a goku vs saitama tier discussion so lets leave it at that lol all 3 are good characters
