What does power gap mean ?

@orangejuice do you ever have problems identifying a character due to different fonts. I finished grinding out the non-combination hiraganas and decided to switch to a different font for fun and i swear these characters dont even look the same anymore my mind just went blank

have never watched a second of QQ, feeling kinda left out

I don't have this problem with Hiragana/Katakana but I've also had experience with the most common Japanese fonts for awhile. I have this problem with some of the more complex kanji, though.
